SUSANNE (Geoffrey Sampson)
The SUSANNE annotation scheme provides a detailed encoding of the logical and surface grammar of English. The SUSANNE corpus/treebank, which is freely available, contains a subset of the Brown corpus that has been marked up according to this scheme. The CHRISTINE project sets out to expand the SUSANNE analytic scheme and corpus to cover spoken English, and particularly spontaneous, informal spoken English.
