Ariadne is a web-based Corpus Management System with a strong focus on multi-user resource management and the processing of multimodal data. It is being developed within the Collaborative Research Center (Sonderforschungsbereich) 673 "Alignment in Communication" at Bielefeld University.
Ariadne's core functions include file storage and management as well as establishing a generic model of linguistic data formats to simplify tasks operating on these data sets. So far, conversion routines between Praat and ELAN documents and the internal data format have been developed, some more are in active development.
