The Department of Computing in the Humanities at the Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany, supports a suite of linguistics tools and functions to support researchers in the Humanities (see http://hucompute.org/). The tools interface is browser-based, and despite its power, is quite easy to use. Find out more at eHumanities Desktop.
